Hosting
Project 143 began doing hosting programs 10 years ago to give children respite, let them experience time in a healthy family environment, and to give them HOPE! We have been able to bring over 2700 children to the United States for this life-changing experience.
Your donations support continued hosting programs in 2021 as we look forward to serving many children.Mentorship
A benefit of hosting for many children who do not get adopted is the ongoing mentorship they receive from their host families. This emotional support helps the children improve their efforts in school and gives them a champion.
Our donors help allow these opportunities for children to receive the much-needed mentorship as they grow.In-Country Support
Our work is focused on supporting the whole child - beyond hosting. Because of the generous donors to Project 143, we are able to provide washers and driers to orphanages, clothing donations, provide activities and recreation opportunities, cleaning and hygiene supplies, and have even been able to provide a kitchen facility at an orphanage in Ukraine this year to aid in teaching life skills to the children aging out so they will be better able to care for themselves.
